Tendering of research projects
The BfR puts up funds every two years for research projects to develop scientific methods to substitute experiments with animals. Innovative approaches for the development of methods to substitute and supplement experiments with animals at German research institutions are sponsored in line with the 3R principle (refine, reduce, replace).
