“Risk Assessment: The Essential Ingredient for Safe Food in Latin America and the Caribbean” is the motto of the third Latin American and Caribbean Risk Assessment Symposium (LARAS) in San José, Costa Rica. Over three days, food safety experts from Latin America and Europe will discuss current developments and establish contacts. The aim of the symposium is to contribute to new approaches and effective co-operation strategies for food safety in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The symposium will take place from 10 to 12 December 2024 in San José, Costa Rica. Participation is possible on site and online.
The symposium will be held in Spanish and English with simultaneous translation.
